About me
Welcome to Villa Filimena! Here, you'll find comfortable rooms in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with convenient parking in the courtyard. Our variety of single, double, and multi-bed rooms makes the accommodation suitable for solo travelers, couples, families, or groups.
Each room comes with a Smart TV, and most have practical roller blinds for full control over lighting and privacy. The accommodation offers private rooms as well as shared common areas: two fully equipped kitchens and three bathrooms are available to all guests, ensuring your stay is as comfortable and convenient as possible.
As your host, I am available by phone daily until 10 PM. I am happy to provide local tips, assist with questions, or help make your stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Your comfort and satisfaction are very important to me.

Sustainability and Responsibility – Villa Filimena
At Villa Filimena, we place great importance on responsible care for the environment, energy, and the community. Our accommodation is run with a great deal of personal commitment—sustainably, locally, and with heart.
We rely on resource-efficient processes in all areas. Energy-efficient lighting, timers, and modern appliances help reduce electricity consumption. A photovoltaic system already provides solar power today—in the future, it will be used directly in the house via a dedicated storage. Water consumption is regularly monitored and reduced with low-flow fixtures, showerheads, and dual-flush toilets.
Our heating system is manually and needs-based controlled to avoid energy waste. Electrical devices are used consciously, and guests are encouraged to conserve water and electricity. This is how we permanently lower our energy consumption and reduce CO₂ emissions.
Waste separation is practiced daily. Paper, plastics, glass, and residual waste are carefully sorted and recycled through local waste disposal facilities. We strictly avoid single-use plastics and use durable, reusable materials.
Our property manager ensures order, cleanliness, and safety on site. They pay attention to waste separation, house rules, and respectful coexistence—while also supporting guests and taking on a social and pastoral role. In this way, we promote sustainable work structures and regional employment and cohesion.
We prefer to work with regional tradespeople, service providers, and suppliers. We also inform our guests about local offers, excursion destinations, and cultural highlights in the Gründau and Gelnhausen area. This strengthens the community and preserves the regional heritage.
For us, sustainability is not a trend but a stance. We want our guests to feel at home—in a clean, safe, and responsible environment.
